ATLAS Program

ATLAS: Accessing Telehealth Through Local Area Stations

The first and only ATLAS site in California is right here in Los Banos.

Veterans who live near Los Banos, California, can save a commute to the Fresno VA Medical Center and meet with their VA providers through video telehealth technology in a private appointment room at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Los Banos.

The state-of-the-art appointment space is one of several ATLAS (Accessing Telehealth through Local Area Stations) sites nationwide. ATLAS is part of VA’s Anywhere to Anywhere initiative — which works to better serve the more than 9 million Veterans who receive care through VA, no matter where they live. It not only provides a solution to Veterans with long travel times to VA facilities but also provides easy access for Veterans with limited internet connectivity at home.
